The thing about the menstrual cycle is that it's your friend not your enemy.
I know you are exhausted and done in, you’ve feel like you’re up one minute and down the next and you even wonder if you’re bipolar, or perimenopausal, or something else. You can’t face another month of this turmoil and you don’t even have the energy to explain what’s going on. You’ve thought about medication but you just don’t know where to turn or what to do.
You think how will I ever get through this? Am I cracking up? People are noticing I’m not happy but I just feel so lost and confused.
I get it because I’ve been there. It’s so lonely when you’re struggling like this by yourself. But your cycle can be the helper in this situation as much as it feels like it’s the problem right now. If you can think about your cycle as showing you information, like a looking glass to your body and mind, your health, wellbeing and what’s happening in your life (now, what you are carrying in the past and what you want in the future too) then a world of possibilities open up.
The first thing to do is to start tracking your cycle. This is the data that will help when you take the next step.
Stay strong, you’ve got this.
Love, Lisa x
